Principle of permanence

Hey kiddo! Do you know what "permanence" means? It means something that stays the same and doesn't go away. And do you know what a "principle" is? It's like a rule or a big idea that people think is really important. So when we talk about the "principle of permanence", we mean the idea that things should stay the same and not change too much.

Let me give you an example. Do you have a favorite toy or stuffed animal? You probably really like it and want to keep it forever, right? Well, the principle of permanence means that you should be able to keep your toy or stuffed animal for as long as you want, and it shouldn't change or get taken away from you without a good reason.

This principle is important in lots of different areas of life, not just toys! For example, if you have a home, you want to be able to live there for a long time and not have to move around too much. Or if you start a job or go to school, you want to feel like that is a stable and permanent part of your life.

So, the principle of permanence is all about having things in your life that you can count on and trust to stay the same. It's a really important idea for people of all ages to understand and appreciate!
