Prison of Solomon

Okay, imagine that there was a really powerful king named Solomon who was in charge of a lot of people a really long time ago. One day, Solomon built a big, fancy temple that was supposed to be really important to people who believed in his religion.

But after he built the temple, Solomon found out that some of the people who were supposed to work on it had been very bad and had been worshipping other gods instead of his. So he got really angry and decided to punish them.

Instead of just putting them in a regular prison, Solomon built a special prison that was supposed to be so strong that nobody could ever escape. He called it the "prison of Solomon."

This prison was supposed to be really bad because it was built underneath the temple, so the people inside could hear the prayers and worship happening up above, but they couldn't participate. They were supposed to feel terrible because they were stuck, listening to people worship the god that they had disobeyed.

That's basically what the prison of Solomon was. It was a really scary, powerful, and special prison that was meant to punish people who had disobeyed the king's orders.
