Procession of the Holy Blood

Okay, so you know how sometimes we have parades? Like on the Fourth of July or for Thanksgiving? Well, some people in a town in Belgium have a really special parade called the Procession of the Holy Blood.

Now, the Holy Blood is something very important to these people. They believe that it is a drop of Jesus's blood that was saved after he died on the cross. So once a year, they get all dressed up in fancy clothes and carry this little container with the Holy Blood in it through the streets of their town.

They sing songs and pray and people come from all over to see the parade. It's really important to these people and they feel like they are honoring Jesus by doing this.

It's kind of like a big birthday party, but instead of celebrating someone's birthday, they are celebrating something really special that they believe in. And they want everyone to know how important it is to them.
