ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Production to consumer

Okay kiddo, when we make things like toys, clothes, and food that people can use, it's called production. But before we can use those things, they have to go on a journey from where they were made to where we can get them.

First, the manufacturer makes the product in a factory or workshop. Then, these products go to different stores, like toy stores, clothing stores or supermarkets, where we can buy them.

When we go to the store to buy something, we become consumers. We choose what we want to buy and pay for it at the store. Then, we can take it home and use it for ourselves.

So, production is the process of making things, and consumer is the person who buys and uses them. And between production and the consumer, the things have to go through a lot of steps and places to get to us!
