ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Professional responsibility

Professional responsibility means that people like doctors, lawyers, teachers and other professionals have a special job to do. Their job is to take care of their clients or students and make sure they do the best job possible. They must also be honest and responsible with their work. This means they don't do anything that would hurt their clients or students, such as stealing, lying, or taking advantage of them. They also must always make sure they follow the rules and regulations of their profession. By doing this, they ensure that their clients or students get the best possible care and education.
