Proselytization

Proselytization is when someone tries to convince other people to follow their religion or belief system.

It's like when your friend says "hey, you should come to church with me on Sunday!" or your grandma tells you to pray to a certain god.

People who proselytize believe that their religion or belief system is the best one and they want everyone else to believe in it too. They think that following their religion will make you happier, get you into heaven, or help you be a better person.

Some people don't like when others try to convince them to believe something different, because they might already be happy with their own beliefs. Others might be interested in learning more and might be open to converting to a new religion.
