Proteopathy

Proteopathy is when proteins don't work right in our bodies. When proteins don't work right, it can make us sick. Like, if you have a jigsaw puzzle and it has pieces that don't fit together, it won't work right. Well, it's kinda like that with proteopathy. Our cells have special parts (proteins) that fit together and do important things to help keep us healthy. But if one of these proteins isn't the right shape or isn't working correctly, the whole thing can break down and cause us to get sick. Proteopathy is when a protein isn't working correctly, so it can cause us to get diseases.
