Psalterium (instrument)

A psalterium is like a little harp that people used to play a long, long time ago. It had lots of strings, kind of like a guitar or a violin, but it was smaller and easier to hold. When you plucked the strings with your fingers, it made a beautiful sound. People would often play the psalterium while singing songs, and sometimes it was even used in religious ceremonies. It's a very special instrument from a very special time in history.
