Pseudo-Archimedes

Pseudo-Archimedes was an ancient Greek scientist who lived over two thousand years ago. He was a famous mathematician and inventor who made lots of important discoveries. He is most famous for inventing the Archimedes' Screw, which was a clever machine that used a turning spiral inside a pipe to move water around. He also figured out a way to measure the volume of irregularly shaped objects, which we now call the Archimedes Principle. That means that if you have something that doesn't have a regular shape, you can still measure how much it weighs.
