ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Pseudohallucination

Pseudohallucinations are things that seem like they are real, but actually aren't. It's like having a dream, except it happens when you're awake. For example, you might hear a loud noise and think it's a truck driving by, but when you look outside there's nothing there. Or you might seem a figure in your room, but when you look closer, there's nothing there. These things aren't real, but your brain is playing tricks and making them seem real.
