Pudding cloth

Okay kiddo, so you know when we make pudding, we mix some ingredients together and then we have to cook it on the stove until it's thick and gooey, right? Well, sometimes we want to make the pudding even thicker and smoother by getting rid of any lumps or clumps.

That's where a pudding cloth comes in. It's kind of like a really big and strong piece of fabric that we use to strain or filter the pudding mixture, just like how we strain pasta or vegetables using a colander.

We pour the hot pudding mixture into the cloth, and the cloth catches any lumps or clumps as the mixture goes through it. This leaves us with a really smooth and silky pudding, ready to pour into bowls and eat!

Pudding cloths can also be used to make other things like cheese or to strain broths and stocks. They're really handy and help us make our yummy treats even better.
