Pulsar

A pulsar is a type of star that is very special. Pulsars are stars that spin very quickly. This spinning causes them to have what scientists call a pulse. Each pulse is like a very quick flash of light that happens in the same place every few seconds or minutes. Because the pulses repeat, it's like a star is blinking! Scientists study pulsars to learn more about things like the universe, gravity, and stars.
