Qajar harem

Okay, imagine you're playing a game of make-believe with your friends. You all decide to have a big house where you're all princesses and princes. Now, in this game, you might imagine that there's a special room in the house that only the princesses can go into. Well, in Iran a long time ago, there was a group of people called the Qajars who ruled the country. They also had a special room in their big house that only certain people could go into. This room was called the harem, and it was where the ruler's wives and daughters stayed.

Inside the harem, the women had their own private quarters where they could hang out, get dressed up, and relax away from the men who were not allowed in the harem. They also had people to take care of them, like servants and guards.

The women in the harem were there because they were considered very important to the ruler. They helped him look good by showing off their fancy clothes and jewelry at important events. They also helped keep the ruler's family line going by having babies.

So, the Qajar harem was like a special room in a big house where important women in the ruler's family got to hang out and be pampered.
