Qizilbash

Qizilbash are people who follow the Shia Muslim faith. They live in some parts of Iran, Azerbaijan, and other countries in Central Asia.

To give you an idea of what that means, it's like being a fan of a certain sports team or being part of a certain club. Qizilbash follow the teachings of the Shia branch of Islam, which is different than the Sunni branch that many other Muslims follow. Just like some people like certain colors or flavors, Qizilbash like the Shia way of practicing Islam.

They wear special clothing that distinguishes them from other Muslims. The Qizilbash men wear a hat called a taj, a long coat called a jubba, and pants called shalvar. The women wear head coverings like a scarf or a headband.

In the past, Qizilbash were part of a political group known as the Safavid Empire in Iran. This empire was very powerful many years ago, and the Qizilbash played a big role in its success.

Overall, Qizilbash is a group of people who follow a certain religion and have their own traditions and customs that make them unique.
