Quaestor

A quaestor, honey, is a type of person in ancient Rome who was really good with money. Sort of like your mommy or daddy making sure the family has enough money to buy food, clothes, and toys.

But the quaestor was more than just good with money. They were responsible for making sure that the government of Rome had enough money to pay for important things like building roads and buildings, buying weapons for the army, and taking care of the city.

They were like the mom or dad of the city, making sure that everyone had what they needed to be happy and safe. And they were really important because without them, the city might not be able to keep running smoothly.
