Quantum efficiency

Quantum efficiency is like a grade for how well a light detector is working. Your grade in school might be A, B, C, D or F. Quantum efficiency is similar but it's a number that goes from 0% (lowest grade) to 100% (highest grade). For example, if a light detector is 90% quantum efficient, that means it's working really well.
