Quantum electrochemistry

Quantum electrochemistry is the study of how the 'leaps' of electrons that happen during a chemical reaction are affected by the quantum nature of particles. Basically, it means that we are looking at how particles like electrons (which aren't solid, but tiny little energy balls) move around during a chemical reaction. This can help us understand why things happen in certain ways during chemical reactions.
