Quantum tunnelling

Quantum tunnelling is like a trick that lets tiny particles break barriers. Imagine a wall with a fence on top of it. If a person wanted to get across the wall, they would have to climb the fence. But for tiny particles like atoms, it's like they can slip through the fence without having to climb it. This is quantum tunnelling. It's like the particles go through the wall without having to go over or around it.
