Quechuan and Aymaran spelling shift

Okay, so there are two languages called Quechuan and Aymaran. People who speak these languages usually live in countries like Peru, Bolivia, and Chile.

A long time ago, these languages used to be spelled one way, but now they are spelled differently! This is called a "spelling shift."

It's kind of like when you learn how to write your name for the first time. At first, you might write it like "Bobi" instead of "Bobby." But as you get better at spelling, you start spelling it correctly.

Well, the spelling shift for Quechuan and Aymaran is kind of like that. People used to spell words one way, but now they spell them a different way because it's more accurate and easier to understand.

So even though the spelling looks different now, people can still understand each other when they speak the language. It's like if your friend started spelling their name differently than they used to, but you still know who they are when they say hello!
