Queen consort

When a king is in charge, he often has a special lady by his side called a queen consort. The queen consort is usually the king's wife and she helps him with important things like greeting important visitors and making decisions for the kingdom.

Even though the queen consort is a very important lady, she doesn't have as much power as the king. She usually can't make big decisions on her own, and she has to do what the king says.

But being a queen consort isn't just about doing important things. Sometimes, they get to wear pretty dresses and go to fancy parties too! It's a very special job and a big responsibility.
