Quraysh (tribe)

Hey kiddo! Have you ever heard of the Quraysh tribe? They were a group of people who lived a long, long time ago in a place called Arabia. Now, Arabia was a big desert with lots of sand, but the Quraysh tribe lived in a special part of Arabia called Mecca. Mecca was a small town and the Quraysh tribe was the most important and powerful tribe in all of Mecca.

The Quraysh tribe had a really important job - they were in charge of the big cube-shaped building called the Kaaba. People from all over Arabia would come to Mecca to visit the Kaaba and the Quraysh tribe would take care of it. They were kind of like the guardians of the Kaaba.

But the Quraysh tribe was also really rich and had a lot of money and power. They didn't like to share their wealth and they looked down on people from other tribes. But there was a man named Muhammad who was born into the Quraysh tribe and he wanted to change things. He believed in one God and that everyone, no matter what tribe they were from, was equal in the eyes of God.

At first, many people in the Quraysh tribe didn't like what Muhammad was saying and they made fun of him. But over time, more and more people started to believe in what Muhammad was saying and they started to follow him. And eventually, the Quraysh tribe even became one of the biggest supporters of Muhammad's teachings.

So, even though the Quraysh tribe was once very wealthy and powerful, they learned that it was more important to be fair and just to everyone, no matter what tribe they came from. And that, my little friend, is the story of the Quraysh tribe!
