R.V. Jones is a former New Brunswick Premier. He was the leader of the New Brunswick Conservative Party from 1949 until 1960, when he resigned and was replaced by Alan Brown. During his time as Premier, Jones brought in many important reforms, including creating a public health care system, passing laws that improved workplace safety, and expanding access to education.
