r/Place was an event on Reddit in April 2017. It was an online art project that let people from all over the world draw together on one huge canvas. Every person who joined in had their own Pixel (a tiny square) that they could use to draw whatever they wanted. To do this, you had to visit Reddit on your computer and click a button to get your own Pixel. You could then draw whatever you wanted on the canvas. After a certain amount of time (usually around 15 minutes), your Pixel would disappear so that someone else could draw. Many people also worked together to draw giant pictures or write messages. After 72 hours, the canvas was full of pictures and messages!
