RC circuit

An RC circuit is like having a toy car and a big cardboard box. The car represents the electric charge and the box represents a capacitor. The capacitor is like a container that can hold the charge. But just like how the car can't always drive around because it might run out of gas, the capacitor can't always hold the charge because it might leak out over time.

The "R" in RC stands for resistor, which is like a speed bump for the car. It slows down how fast the charge can move through the circuit. The bigger the resistor, the slower the charge moves.

So, when you connect the car and box with the resistor, the car has to slow down as it charges up the capacitor. Once the capacitor is "full," the charge can't go in anymore, just like how you can't put more toys in a full box. But over time, the charge will start to leak out of the capacitor, kind of like how toys might fall out of a box if you don't tape it shut.

Overall, an RC circuit is all about balancing how fast the charge can move (with the resistor) and how much it can hold (with the capacitor). It's a way to control and manipulate electric current.
