ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

RISC-V

RISC-V is a type of computer chip which is used to help electronic devices do more things in a more efficient way. It stands for Reduced Instruction Set Computing. This means that instead of using lots of instructions to get something done, the chip can do the same thing with fewer instructions. That makes the chip faster, which is why it is used in many different types of electronic devices. It also makes the chip simpler, which makes it easier to design and build.
