Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a cool machine called a plow? It's something farmers use to dig up the soil in their fields so they can plant crops.
Well, a long time ago, some people believed that if you plow a big patch of land, it'll make it rain more. They thought that because plowing helps break up the soil and make it easier for water to soak in.
But the thing is, plowing doesn't actually make it rain more. Rain is caused by a lot of complicated reasons like temperature, air pressure, and humidity. Plowing can't change those things.
So while it's important for farmers to use plows to get their fields ready for planting, it won't magically make it rain more. We just have to cross our fingers and hope for rain when we need it!
