Raita

Hey kiddo! Do you like eating yogurt? Well, Raita is just like yogurt, but we add some other yummy things to it to make it even tastier!

Raita is a special kind of yogurt dish that comes from India. It's usually made with fresh, tangy yogurt as a base. To that, we add things like chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and herbs like mint and cilantro.

But why do we add all those things? Well, they make the raita taste really good, and also help to cool your mouth down if you're eating spicy food.

So when you go to an Indian restaurant and order something really spicy, they might bring you a bowl of raita to help balance out the heat. It's kind of like having a superhero sidekick who helps you fight off the bad guys (in this case, the spicy food).

Now you know all about raita! It's a super tasty and helpful food that goes great with all kinds of Indian dishes. Give it a try sometime, you might really like it!
