Rapid casting is a way to make things out of melted metal really quickly. You start by melting metal in a special furnace that makes it really hot. Then you pour the melted metal into a mold, which is a special shape that you want your metal thing to be. The mold is made out of special material that can handle the hot metal without melting or breaking. Once the metal is in the mold, you wait for it to cool down and harden. Then you take your metal thing out of the mold and it's ready to use or decorate. It's kind of like baking a cake, but instead of using dough, you use melted metal and a special mold. And just like a cake, you have to be really careful not to burn yourself or break the mold.
