Rayleigh Sky Model

The Rayleigh sky model is a mathematical model that is used to describe the brightness of the sky. It works by calculating how much of the Sun's light (called "light energy") is reflected off of the atmosphere and scattered in all directions on a clear day. The model takes into account the effects of the Earth's atmosphere and how far away the Sun is. The model is used by scientists and engineers to calculate things like how much solar power (like from solar panels) can be captured from the sun on a given day, and to understand the effect of pollution on sky brightness.
