Raytrix

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a camera? It's a device that takes pictures, right? Well, Raytrix is a special kind of camera that takes pictures in a very unique way.

You know how normal cameras use a flat piece of film or a digital sensor to capture an image? With Raytrix, instead of just one sensor, it has many tiny little sensors arranged in a special pattern called a "microlens array".

Each of these little sensors only captures a tiny piece of the overall picture, but when they're all put together, they create a really detailed 3D image of whatever you're taking a picture of.

It's kind of like if you and your friends all stood in a line, each person holding one puzzle piece. Together, you can make a whole puzzle! That's how Raytrix works - it uses many pieces/sensors to make one detailed picture.

So why is this cool? Well, it means that the Raytrix camera can capture really detailed 3D images, which can be really helpful in fields like medicine and engineering. Plus, it's just really neat to see things in 3D, right?
