Reagent bottle

A reagent bottle is a special bottle that scientists and chemists use to hold small amounts of chemicals. It looks like a small glass jar with a narrow neck and a cork or a stopper on top. The neck is usually long so that scientists can pour just a little bit of the chemical at a time.

Scientists use reagent bottles to keep dangerous chemicals safe and secure. They also use them to keep track of which chemical is in which bottle. They write the name of the chemical on the outside or use special labels so they can easily find what they need.

Reagent bottles come in different sizes, colors, and shapes. Some have a tinted glass to prevent light from affecting the chemicals inside. Others have a special lining or coating to prevent reactions between the chemical and the glass.

In short, a reagent bottle is a special kind of bottle that scientists use to hold small amounts of chemicals and keep them safe.
