tau

Tau is a mathematical symbol that looks like a "T", just like how the letter "A" looks like an upside down "V". It's used by mathematicians when they want to measure angles, like when drawing a triangle or a square. A full circle has 360 degrees, but with tau, we measure angles in units of tau (often called radians). That full circle would now measure 6.28 tau instead!
