Rebound headache

Okay kiddo, sometimes when we take medicine for our headache too often, our brain gets used to it and starts depending on it. And when we stop taking the medicine, the brain gets confused and sends a signal to our head that something is wrong. This causes another headache, also called a rebound headache.

It's like when we eat too many candies, our body gets used to the sugar, and when we stop eating it, we feel sick and get a stomach ache. In the same way, when we take too much headache medicine, our brain gets used to it, and we get a headache when we stop taking it.

So, we need to be careful and not take too much medicine for our headache. If we have a headache more than 2-3 times a week, we should talk to our grown-up and ask for help to figure out a better way to manage it. It's important to follow the doctor's instructions and not take more medicine than prescribed. And always remember, prevention is better than cure!
