Recall bias

Recall bias is when someone remembers something differently than how it actually happened. This can happen when people are asked to remember things that happened a long time ago, or that they weren't paying close attention to at the time. For example, if you asked someone if they watched a scary movie last night, and they said yes, but it actually happened two weeks ago, then they have a recall bias.
