Recursion

Recursion is like a game of telephone. You have a message that you want to pass onto your friends. Instead of just telling them the message, the first person whispers it to the second person, the second person whispers it to the third person, and the third person whispers it to the fourth person, and so on until the message gets to the last person. That is how recursion works. It takes a task and keeps repeating it, just like how each person has to keep whispering the same message until it reaches the last person.
