Reductio ad Hitlerum

Reductio ad Hitlerum is a bad way of arguing. It means saying something is wrong because Hitler did it. This happens when people use Adolf Hitler as an example to make their point, even when it doesn't make sense. It's wrong because it doesn't consider all the factors and is kind of like saying something is bad because Hitler did it, when really it might not be bad or wrong at all.
