Refractory metals

Refractory metals are metals that can resist very high temperatures. They can also be difficult to shape or form. This means that they are great for use in situations where extreme heat or wear and tear is expected, such as airplane engines or industrial furnaces. Refractory metals don't melt or change shape easily and they can hold up to a lot of abuse. That's why they are used in items that need to last a long time and stay strong.
