Refrigerated van

Hey there! Do you know what a refrigerator is? It's a machine that helps keep your food cold and fresh. Now think of a van, like a big car that can carry lots of things. A refrigerated van is a van that has a special cooling system built into it, just like a refrigerator.

The inside of the van is like a big box and the cooling system helps to keep the inside of the box cold, usually around 2-8 degrees Celsius. This is important because some things need to be kept at a certain temperature to stay fresh and safe to eat, like fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy products.

When people need to transport food from one place to another, they use refrigerated vans to help keep the food fresh and safe. For example, if a farmer has a lot of tomatoes that they want to sell at a market far away, they can load the tomatoes into a refrigerated van and drive to the market without worrying about the tomatoes getting spoiled.

Refrigerated vans are also used by companies that deliver food to restaurants, supermarkets, and other places that sell food. So next time you see a big van driving down the road with a logo on it that says "Refrigerated Transport", you'll know that it's carrying food and keeping it fresh and safe!
