Regge Calculus

Regge calculus is a way of doing mathematics that helps us to understand complicated shapes like curved surfaces. It works by splitting a complicated shape into smaller pieces, like a puzzle. Each of these pieces is called a 'simplex', and when all the pieces are put together, we have a 'triangulation' of the object. By working out how all the pieces fit together, we can understand the shape of the object.
