Regional planning

Regional planning is like when mommy and daddy plan a family trip. They talk about where they want to go, what things they want to see, and how long they want to stay. This helps everybody get on the same page and makes sure everyone has a good time.

Regional planning is similar, but instead of planning a trip, it's about planning for a whole region, like a city or a state. People who are really good at planning get together and think about things like where to build new homes or highways or how to protect the environment.

Regional planning helps make sure that things are built in the right places, so that people can easily get to work, school, and other important places. It also makes sure that the environment is protected and that the region looks nice and is safe for everyone to live in.

Just like how mommy and daddy have to think about everyone in the family when planning the trip, people who do regional planning need to think about everyone in the region and how their plans will affect them. It's a big job, but it helps make our communities better for everyone to live in.
