Regulatory reform

Hi! Do you know what rules are? They are like instructions that tell you how to do something or not do something.

Well, when it comes to companies and businesses, there are rules or regulations that they have to follow to make sure that they are doing things right and not hurting people or the environment. These rules are made by the government, who wants to make sure that everyone is safe and treated fairly.

But sometimes these rules can be too complicated or outdated, which can make it hard for businesses to follow them. This is where regulatory reform comes in!

Regulatory reform means that the government is looking at these rules and trying to make them better, simpler, and more effective. They want to make sure that the rules are still doing what they were intended to do, but without making life too hard for businesses.

Sometimes, the government might even get rid of some of the rules if they don't really help anyone or if they are not needed anymore.

So basically, regulatory reform is the government's way of making sure that everyone's following the rules, but also making sure that those rules are fair, useful and not too complicated.
