Releasing hormone

Okay kiddo, so there are special little things called hormones inside our body. They help our body work properly, kind of like how a remote control helps us turn on the TV.

Now, sometimes our body needs certain hormones at different times. That's where releasing hormones come in. They basically tell a special tiny organ in our brain called the pituitary gland to release specific hormones into our body. Just like how mommy tells the dog to go get the ball.

So let's pretend your body needs more growth hormone to help you get taller. Your releasing hormone would tell the pituitary gland to release more growth hormone into your body.

And that's how releasing hormones work! They tell our body what hormones we need and help keep us healthy.
