Reliability engineering
Reliability engineering is when people try to make sure that things work the way they are supposed to. It means making sure things don't break down, or stop working for no reason. Reliability engineers make sure things work properly and last for a long time. They also try to make sure that if something does break, it can be fixed quickly.
