ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Religious architecture

Religious architecture is buildings and other structures that are built for religious purposes. These are very important to people who observe certain religions as these structures help people learn and practice their faith. For example, churches, mosques, and temples are all examples of religious architecture. They provide a space for people to come together and learn about religious beliefs, pray, and celebrate different holidays. Building and maintaining religious architecture is a way for people to show their faith and connect with others who have the same religious beliefs.
