ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Religious education

Religious education is like going to class to learn more about God and different beliefs people have. Just like how you go to school to learn about math or history, religious education is where you learn about the stories and teachings from different religions, like Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, and others. You learn about things like the Ten Commandments, the stories of Adam and Eve and Moses, or the importance of meditation and karma. Some people go to religious education because they want to know more about their own religion, and others go to learn about different religions and gain a better understanding of the world around them. It's kind of like an adventure where you get to explore different beliefs and learn different ways to connect with God.
