Religious festival

A religious festival is a special time when people who believe in a certain religion come together to celebrate and honor their beliefs. Just like how you have special days like your birthday or a holiday like Christmas, people who have a religion have special days too. During these festivals, people usually gather together with their family, friends, and other people who believe in the same religion. They might have special foods, wear different clothes, and do different things to show that they are celebrating the festival. For example, during the Hindu festival of Diwali, people light lamps and candles and decorate their homes with colorful lights. During the Christian festival of Easter, people might go to church and have special meals with their families to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Festivals are a way for people to come together and celebrate their faith and beliefs.
