Resort architecture

Okay kiddo, imagine you go on vacation to a hotel, it's huge and beautiful, with a pool and a big lobby. The way the hotel is designed, the way the buildings are arranged, and how they fit with the surroundings is called resort architecture.

Resort architecture is all about making people feel relaxed and comfortable while they are on vacation. The buildings are usually built with lots of open spaces, such as balconies, patios, or verandas that allow guests to enjoy the surrounding scenery, like the beach or the woods.

Architects also pay attention to the environment and weather of the place where the resort is. For example, if the resort is in a hot and sunny area, they will make sure there are lots of shaded areas for guests to relax.

They choose materials that can withstand the weather and the use over time, and make sure everything looks nice but also works well for guests. Resort architecture is all about making people feel good and creating memories that they will never forget.

So, next time you go to a hotel, remember to look at the architecture, and see how it makes you feel!
