ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Resource-based view

The resource-based view is a way of understanding what a company has to work with to help them succeed. It says that a company's success comes from the resources that it has - like its money, people, technology, and other things that it owns. To be successful, the company needs to use those resources in the best way possible. That means finding ways to use them together to make something better than what any of them can do on their own.
