Restless Leg Syndrome

Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) is a condition where you feel an uncomfortable feeling, like a tingling or aching, in your legs when you're sitting or lying still. When you move your legs, the feeling goes away. RLS can also make it hard for you to fall asleep or stay asleep. It happens more often in older adults, but can happen to anyone. Doctors don't know exactly what causes RLS, but some things seem to make it worse, like stress, caffeine, and not exercising enough.
