Rhetorical modes

Rhetorical modes are ways of speaking or writing that help you communicate a message. They often involve using persuasive language, or language that helps influence the way people think about something. Examples of rhetorical modes include narration, description, argumentation, and persuasion. For example, if you wanted to tell a story about something that happened, you would use narration. Or, if you wanted to explain how something looks or works, you would use description. If you were arguing for or against something, you would use argumentation. Finally, if you wanted to persuade someone to do something, you would use persuasion.
